A Group of Japanese Fan Paintings
ink and color and gold leaf on paper, Meiji period paintings of birds amid spring and fall flowers, six signed with seal, three framed.
Condition
6 with no losses to edges, just toned from age, scattered small staining. The remaining with various scattered small losses to edges and typical creasing for a folding fan to more extensive losses to edges and brittle paper. Glued on corners to backing thick paper.
